Movement joints, also known as control strips or isolation joints, manage thermal expansion and contraction in surfaces like stone, tile, marble, terrazzo, and other solid floor finishes. They absorb climate-related growth and minimize erosion and cracking. Suitable for internal and external use, they should be installed with the appropriate tile adhesive. For external areas, wider neoprene control strips and smaller flooring components are recommended. Available in various neoprene/EPDM insert colors and metal side plate combinations, including brass, stainless steel, and aluminum, our aluminum side plates are made from stronger 6063 T5 material.
